Experimental Investigation of Tensile Behavior of Textile Reinforced Concrete with Nonwoven Polypropylene Fabric
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The textile reinforced concrete structural members often suffer from delamination when oriented-fiber textiles are used. The delamination problem, which is most pronounced when the structural member is subjected to axial loading, may be reduced with the use of nonwoven textiles. The assessment of the effectiveness of production technology which ensure complete penetration of the concrete matrix into the nonwoven textile is currently performed with ad hoc testing methods. This paper presents two testing methods, which are standard, and for which suitable testing specimens have been developed. The applicability of the method is demonstrated on two sets of specimens which are moreover reinforced or not reinforced with the oriented glass fiber mesh. This type of mesh is used for stiffening the textile reinforced concrete structural member and thus is commonly added back to the nonwoven textile reinforced concrete composites.
