Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This paper presents the first results of an investigation of mortar beds taken from three mosaics ascribed to Neuhauser Innsbruck coming from two different locations in Prague (Sladkovský and Beneš family sepulchers in Olšany Cemetery, Prague and Peluněk sepulcher from Malvazinky Cemetery, Prague). The mosaics date back to 1880s (Sladkovský, Beneš) and early 1900s (Peluněk). The Peluněk mosaic depicting Ressurected Christ is listed in an archival Neuhauser company catalogue which confirms its Austrian origin. The aim of our study was to characterize the three mortars and to analytically confirm their similarity which was evident at first sight. All mortars looked similar and had a very characteristic smell.
