In den vergangenen zwei Jahrzehnten ist es deutschen und tschechischen Organisationen gelungen, eine große Anzahl von Denkmälern auf dem Gebiet der ehemals von Deutschen besiedelten Gebiete in der Tschechischen Republik zu retten. Die meisten Objekte waren infolge einer problematischen Entwicklung der Denkmalpflege während der kommunistischen Ära in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Ungeachtet dieser sehr erfolgreichen Zusammenarbeit gibt es noch immer eine große Anzahl von Denkmälern, besonders in den Grenzgebieten, die weiterhin verfallen und auf ihre Retter warten. In the past two decades, in cooperation with Czech associations, towns, municipalities and German expatriate organizations, a large number of monuments in the territory of the Czech Republic in the areas of the former Sudetenland were saved. Most of the buildings got into a very bad state due to the problematic development of monument care in the communist era. In spite of all these achievements and mutual cooperation of both parties, especially in the border areas, a large number of monuments remain, which are still in a very bad condition and are waiting for their savers. Monuments orphaned.
