Addressing the development of an urban locality means solving it in the context of public space: a troublesome locality can be an opportunity for the city as a whole. The revitalized Perla 01 complex is integrated into the structure of the public space of the town of Ústí nad Orlicí. The basis of a complex city is a diverse and open structure of functions that responds to the needs of residents and fulfills the potential of the seat; criteria of specific European values apply. Functional complexity and flexibility is the starting point for the prosperity of the city and the fulfillment of the diverse needs of its inhabitants and visitors.
