Nos anos 1929–1930, o casal Greta e Fritz Tugendhat construiu em Brno uma casa projetada pelo arquiteto alemão Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. A casa conquistou reconhecimento internacional como uma das mais significativas obras residenciais do mundo, em razão da própria forma de construção, da organização do espaço, do equipamento de interior, de sua base técnica e de sua inserção no entorno da natureza. Uma obra artística ímpar que desde a sua origem passou por uma série de transformações históricas e reformas complexas. Esta exposição oferece um mapeamento do contexto histórico, da história, da filosofia e da trajetória arquitetônica da Villa Tugendhat desde sua concepção até nossos dias.

In the years 1929–1930, the couple Greta and Fritz Tugendhat built a house in Brno designed by the German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The house has gained international recognition as one of the most significant residential works in the world, due to the form of construction itself, the organization of the space, the interior equipment, its technical basis and its insertion in the surroundings of nature. A unique artistic work that since its inception has undergone a series of historical transformations and complex reforms. This exhibition offers a mapping of the historical context, history, philosophy and architectural trajectory of Villa Tugendhat from its conception to the present day.
