In the frame of the project (GA CR 103/99/0562 "Energetic facade with the usage of optical rasters made of glass") a special software for calculating and simulating energy characteristics of optical rasters was developed by ENKI p.b.c. in cooperation with CTU Prague and glass - houses Glaverbel Ltd. Program was presented at V. congress in Brighton 2000. In Further years there were made some rasters by the method of continual casting in the glass - house Glaverbel Czech Ltd. This technology belongs to the most productive andallows producing several thousands of square meters per day on just one assembly-line. A special stand was designed and produced and the rasters were tested in real conditions with the natural source - Sun. The purpose of the work isto compare theoretical values of permeability (transparency) of ideal optical rasters with the measured values of the real rasters. They are made by non-standard but highly productive optical technology of continual casting.
