In frame of the P2 project of the Aerospace Research Center the Composite Material Database is begin created at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering CTU in order to support a design of small sport aircraft. The material characteristics are tested on specimens produced by contacted lamination technology under various climatic conditions. The specimens are made of glass, carbon-aramid and carbon fabrics and carbon fabrics and glass and carbon rovings, both with epoxy matrix.
