Theoretical Analysis of the Hole Drilling Method Used for the Residual Stress Identification
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Principles of the current theories of the hole drilling method for evaluation of the residual stress were tested by the beams in bending. It was shown that considerable differences exist between the stress state estimated by the hole-drilling method andreal stress state. 3D numerical models of the beams in bending and tension were created and the hole-drilling method was modelled. It was shown that the basic base function used in current theory for definition the radial strain around the drilled hole is not able to describe the distribution of the stress accurately. Therefore the new basis functions were suggested and tested. Using new basic function a new method for estimation the residual stresses was defined and verified. Excepting this method we have suggested another approach for evaluation the residual stresses called "Differentiation signal method" which offers more general solution.
