The paper deals with the description of the development and tests of a laboratory for ground frequency tests of small aeroplanes and gliders up to the maximum takeoff weight 650 kg. The equipment is developed in terms of the task Research Development ofAircraft Composite Structures of the project Aerospace Research Centre. The method described deals with critical flutter speeds of small aeroplanes and gliders as a base of the device design and measurement methodology. This article gives information ofa measuring Unit and shows fist time trial tests on a multi-purpose stand.
