The Workshop on Applied Mechanics is organized by the Department of Mechanics, Biomechanics and Mechatronics, CTU in Prague. The speakers comprise a mixture of established experts and younger researchers. Experts will be asked to highlight open problemsand to point out directions for future research. The aim is to encourage the next generation of young researchers to attend the meeting and to stimulate the discussion about the problems of their research.
