Dynamic Behavior of Panel Radiators - Experimental Investigation and Modeling.
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The research was initiated by the needs for lowering energy consumption, its main objectives - determination of time constants of radiators' heat-up and cool-down as well as simplified models of these processes - should enable further optimization of heating systems. Methods used for these tasks include experimental thermographic measurement and computer simulations. Results obtained so far are promising; thermal imaging technique makes a significant improvement in determination of mean surface temperature of a radiator. A very good agreement with experimental data was achieved for cool-down models: relative deviation from experiments less than 3 % for a model based on differential energy balance equation and about 5 % for analytical solution in a simple spreadsheet. Heat-up process is more complex but solution using transfer functions led to a relative deviation from experiments of less than 4 %.
