The issue of management decision-making in engineering firm is very actual during global economic crisis, thus uniquely provides data and information about specific approaches of management not only to business risk but also to uncertainty in the business environment. Ongoing trends in management put new demands on some key business attributes such as flexibility, adaptability and ability to handle complexity. From the theoretical point of view it is a priority to examine these trends in real-life business and thereby significantly enhance the analysis of theoretical approaches to this issue and a specific methodology approaches in decision making.
