The project is aimed at verification of mathematical simulation models of the machine tool parts and technologies and at general advancement of complex virtual models of the whole machine tool. One of basic and common needs in the development of relevantmathematical models of parts, groups, units, technologies and feed drive control systems is the necessity to perform verification measurements and experiments. Those experiments represent the data sources for advanced development of simulation techniques and simulation models. One of notable know-hows of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the CTU is represented by the virtual mechatronic models of machine tools. Those models are often and successfully applied in research and development projectsconducted in the cooperation with industry. In the frame of the phase I of the project, various verification measurements were proposed, selected measurements meeting the needs of the individual doctoral works of the research team members
