Gas industry is sector which is due to the state energy security. Gas sector is regulated and strictly controlled by state. Threats or paralysis of energy supply represents significant risk to the State security. Transmission and distribution system mustmeet strict criteria relating to the operation and maintenance of gas facilities. Operation and maintenance of gas facilities in European countries are largely influenced by legislation and technical regulations. Maintenance strategy and maintenance technologies are used in different countries at different level.
