Four pieces of Dwg. No 7154370 ? swing cast, 5 samples for tensile testing. Yield strength of all 5 tensile strength samples is satisfactory. Tensile strength of all 5 tensile strength samples is satisfactory. Elongation requirement is fulfilled. Lower values in case of samples Y2 and Y5 estimated for standard short specimen are satisfactory taking into account the different coefficient of proportionality of MS75 standard. Chemical composition does not fulfill exactly standard requirements (slightly lover Si content) Matrix microstructure is not ferritic. However Standard MS75A allows also pearlitic-ferritic matrix as long as the hardness does not exceed the required values. Surface hardness value is within range of 156-217 HBW and the difference between core hardness and surface hardness values is lower than 30 HBW.
