Applying Heat Transfer Models in Hot Strip Mill Line to Strip Temperature Estimation during the Strip Finishing
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The research report presents a strip temperature estimation, based on the total heat transfer models, during the hot strip finishing in the hot strip mill line. First of all, the heat transfer models both in the stand area and in the inter-stand area areprovided. These heat transfer models are applied to corresponding strip temperature drop evaluations in the stand and inter-stand areas. Since the strip temperature drops are evaluated at the steady states the steady-state models of the strip temperature drop are identified where the most significant parameter is the overall heat transfer coefficient from the viewpoint of its uncertainty. For the purpose of estimating the strip surface temperatures the static-model-based observer of the strip surface temperature drops through single stands and between adjacent finishing stands is applied along with the proper settings of the overall heat transfer coefficients and the observer time constants. Finally, the model-based estimation of the s
