Adavced Methods for Integrated Safety Systems Testing
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The human need for transportation has highly arisen during the 20th century. The coupling of driver and vehicle greatly represents the idea of technological symbiosis of mankind and machine. On contrary, many negatives leading to road accidents originate in incorrect vehicle’s usage. Therefore, many systems ensuring the passengers' and other road users' safety has been developed. While it's necessary to ensure their errorless functionality in coexistence with human driver, these systems undergo vast number of various tests. As the road transportation system is considered as non-stationary open system, it is impossible to describe all scenarios that can happen in such system. The article presents new method of testing of complex vehicle safety systems based on system separation, which accelerates the testing. Main benefit of the method remains in enabling software alternative to current full vehicle testing, which is the most expensive part of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) systems design and testing.
