In the stamping process, springback causes geometrical inaccuracies and defects in final shape of metal stampings. Springback is an current problem in stamping production. Springback behavior is highly influenced by mechanical properties of the material and stamping process itself. In reality, it is very difficult to predict how the springback will be influenced. That is the reason, why numerical simulations are used more commonly (AutoForm, PAM-STAMP, e.g.). The research focuses on the process variables and how they influence the springback behavior. Analysis of the process variables was done with use of special module AutoForm SIGMA. For the experimental part, outer panel from Seat Ateca fifth door was used.
