The measurement of bevel gears is a very complicated task, which is becoming more and more important in the interests of the companies with the increasing production mainly in the automobile industry. Today's control technology allow some methods of evaluating the qualitative level of bevel gearing. This paper deals with the technological possibilities of the analysis of the bevel gears with the orientation on the use of the coordinate measuring machines.
