New methodology for optimized setting of CNC controller parameters using machine tool virtual model
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The resulting quality and precision of machining is influenced by a number of parameters. The choice of machining strategy, the choice of cutting tools and cutting conditions is crucial. Equally important is the setting of the CNC and feed drive control parameters Setting the optimal values of the CNC parameters is a complex task in practice, which is usually done based just on experience of the machine tool operator, lacking the knowledge of dynamic properties of motion axes and quantified criteria for the evaluation of surface quality. A new methodology has been developed to allow for the complete optimization of the CNC system parameters based on the newly proposed criteria for the assessment of the surface quality deviations. For the realization of the virtual simulation optimization of CNC system parameters, an experimental procedure for identification of dynamic properties of motion axes is also proposed, which in conjunction with the CNC virtual station allows simulation to achieve results fully transferable to the actual machine. The procedure is verified and demonstrated on the example of the portal center and the point machining of the test piece.
