Hydrogels are currently widely used. It is a material that is biologically well tolerated. Hydrogels can absorb large amounts of water. The paper deals with modification of Velleman K8200 printer for printing hydrogel. Various methods can be used to print the hydrogel. Here the method of printing by extrusion and curing by a UV light source is selected. Software is created in the MATLAB environment for convenient printing and changing print settings. Also, the extruder had to be redesigned. Objects are printed from droplets. To modify the generated G code, software has been developed that modifies the original G code. To test a modified printer, a simple object is created and printed.
