Větrání obytných budov a tvorba kvalitního vnitřního prostředí bývá zcela neprávem opomíjenou záležitostí. Přitom ve vnitřním prostředí obytných budov trávíme podstatnou část života. Obecným trendem při výstavbě nových nebo rekonstrukci stávajících budov je snižování energetické náročnosti budov a problematika větrání budov je tak stále aktuálním tématem. Cílem publikace je seznámit čtenáře s problematikou větrání obytných budov v širších souvislostech. Je určena zejména projektantům techniky prostředí staveb, ale zároveň může sloužit stavebníkovi nebo investorovi, který se v dané problematice snaží zorientovat. Publikace shrnuje dosavadní zkušenosti s návrhem větracích systémů podle normativních požadavků uvedených v ČSN EN 15665/Z1 za 13 let jejího působení a podává vysvětlující komentář k některým ustanovením. Nabízí různé úhly pohledu na návrh větrání obytných budov a prezentuje i některé postřehy z praxe.

Ventilation and indoor air quality in residential buildings are often unjustly neglected. However, we spend a significant part of our lives in the indoor environment of residential buildings. The general trend in the construction of new buildings or the renovation of existing buildings is to reduce the energy consumption of buildings, and the issue of building ventilation is therefore becoming increasingly important. The aim of this publication is to introduce the reader to the subject of ventilation in residential buildings in a broader context. It is aimed primarily at HVAC engineers, but may also be of use to the builder or investor who is trying to find his way around the subject of ventilation. The publication summarises the experience of designing ventilation systems in accordance with the requirements of EN 15665/Z1 over the 13 years of its existence and provides explanatory commentary on some of the provisions. It offers different perspectives on the design of ventilation in residential buildings and presents some insights from practice.
