Verification of Mechanical and Fatigue Strength of SAPHIRE Device in Treatment of Multi-fragmentary Fracture at Neck and Head Portions of the Proximal Humerus
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Using of SAPHIRE device with proximal humerus plate and six screws at the proximal humerus zone (as organized in construct B2) would cause distributed extent of stress and thus, significant reduction of maximum stress at proximal humerus plate and screws. This enhanced achievement would be revealed for all load types (compressive, compressive-shear, and torsion loads), which verifies the superior advantage of SAPHIRE device for treatment of complex multi-fragmentary fracture at the neck zone of the humeral head. Likewise, using of SAPHIRE device with the nail-screw system, at the proximal humerus zone, as organized in construct B6, would provide good level of stiffness compared to proximal humerus plating system for treatment of complex fracture pattern at the humeral head.
