The semantic web is an extension of the current web, in which an information is described by computer understandable metadata. This enables automatic processing of web resources by search engines, software agents or computer applications. In this paper we discuss how we put the data about our department to the semantic web. This work is based on our previous research and we used this use case as a proof-of-concept for our scientific results. In this paper the implementation and practical issues are detailed.
