Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper presents various aspects of electric files utilization in meeting the power demand in the Czech Republic. Currently, electric files with powers ranging from 250 kW to 3 MW are used, and in the period 2010-2020 their applicability is going to increase a lot. The paper presents the operating principle of an electric file, the types used, the operating mode as well as the advantages and disadvantages of using them. As regards the electricity generation by means of electric files several possibilities are described, namely: using electric files together with the renewable energy resources; decentralized production; combined heat and power production. The paper presents a debate issue regarding the development of future energy resources. The continuous increase in power demand and the descrease in primary energy reserves lead to the analysis of other possibilities, as the utilization of electric files is one of these possibilities.
