Paper deals with the description of the experimental working place realized on the Department of Electric Drives and Traction on the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU in Prague. The Working place was established for the function verification of levited linear motor working on the induction principle. Conception version, electromagnetic design of the machine, testing place and first realized experiments are described. Authors note intended next follow on experiments in close the paper.
