This paper briefly describes all possible parts of the wave which can be excited by the source on planar transmission lines. Description of the total wave including an artificial mathematical decomposition to its particular waves is provided here by using method of moments in spectral-domain. Modifying the integration path in backward Fourier transform we calculate specific parts of the total wave as well as the total wave itself. We show that by using this method we are able to calculate bound mode andcontinuous spectrum including both substrate and space leaky modes and also residual wave.
