Renewable energy sources (RES) have positive properties as decreasing of CO2 emissions in environmental policy (technical aspect) and also in solving the question of minimum costs (economical aspect). Another positive aspect of the RES operation is described in the paper. RES increase the employment rate in the region, first during installation the source, second because the production of components, administration and also because the growing production, e.g. for biomass combustion. Another working places are created during operation and maintenance of each single type of RES and also studies of technical disciplines are supported. The paper is intended to how to find, which RES is the most effective source for new working places. The paper shows howto determine the relations which should be solved to find the maximum of new working places in dependence of the employment on production, construction, installation, operation and maintenance.
