Obesity and with it associated comorbiditiesare the most common causes of morbidity and mortality in worldwide. The objective of reducing exess body weight is an effort not only to adjust the weight, but also the reduction of metabolic risk. To reduce excess body weight should be a holistic approach. The aim of study was to evaluate changes in diet, nutritional status and lipid profile for use of the device Obesimed forte - a mixture of polysaccharides. The substance after with a sufficient amount of water in the stomach creates a viscous gel matrix, thereby providing a feeling of satiety when eating smaller portions of food.
