Modelling of Nuclear Power Plant Decommissioning Financing

Paper discusses the different methodologies used by selected European countries for financing of the liabilities related to the nuclear power plant decommissioning. Paper presents methodology of future decommissioning costs allocation as running costs ofnuclear power plant in the form of fee imposed to each MWh generated. The application of the methodology is presented in the case study of the new nuclear power plant with installed capacity 1 000 MW.
