A long-term measurement of characteristic quantities in the system of city electric bus traction propulsion passed in the spring 2011. The bus was in regular operation in the Prague Public Transit Co. Inc.. A data set of 300 thousand values was processedstatistically. The knowledge of frequency of occurrence of values of particular characteristic quantities is important for power proportioning of traction engine, its regulation system as well as accumulator battery.
