In this article we discuss the necessity for monitoring of traffic information distributed over RDS-TMC and by DDR we show main integrators of traffic information and focus with further analysis on NDIC - National Traffic Information Centre and DIC Prague. Long term quality monitoring is viewed from technical perspective and the solution how to get data from RDS stream process them to unique messages and run quality test on them. Different formats of stored data are presented and 3 approaches to qualityevaluation are shown (RDS service quality, TMC message structure quality and navigation device interpretation quality). Quality indicators are presented in form of XQuery code as a unit tests and automation of the test is proposed. This paper does not present actually any results of monitored services, its purpose is to present the long term solution not the intermediate results.
