Transport infrastructure is of great importance for economic growth, labour mobility, consumers, and the competitiveness of the economy. Achieving of efficient use of infrastructure is among other questions dependent on how users are charged for infrastructure. Infrastructure charges have a very clear role to play in addressing all issues like escalating congestion and pollution raise doubts about the sustainability of transport. The author explains in the article how infrastructure charging system cansolve many of the transport sector?s problems, and help find the measures to make the best use of the existing infrastructure, to achieve a shift to less environmentally damaging modes of transport, and the use of economic instruments to reduce fuel consumption, emissions, and noise. Fees for the use of infrastructure should be neither too low nor too high. The upper limit of the hairpin would be conditional to the transport market-segment price, while the lower one would be a function o
