Telecommunications systems are critical part of the infrastructure for the continuous functionality of modern global societies. The article summarizes the main ideas of the forthcoming doctoral thesis that finding answers to several key hypotheses will answer the question whether the simultaneous action of two or more incidents on defined telecommunications system causes more serious damage to the infrastructure, than those organizations are preparing in their traditional contingency and emergency response plans.
