Methods of radiation fields and dose simulation in the NPPs areas for the accident scenarios
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
After the accident at Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant in Japan, the EU called for a programme of Stress Tests across the member countries. In the Czech Republic, the results of these stress tests were summarized in national reports. As a follow-upto the stress tests of Dukovany and Temelín NPPs, the Ministry of Interior opened R&D project titled ?Prevention, preparedness and reduction of consequences of serious accidents of the Czech nuclear power plants in connection with the new experience obtained from the stress tests after the Fukushima accident?. In the frame of this project, issues of the radiation protection of the NPP staff including emergency and monitoring personnel are studied. To assess personal doses, simulation of the spatial distribution of radiation fields for selected accident scenarios is necessary. Such task represents computationally highly demanding, large scale deep penetration problem. Methods of simulation of such type of tasks were studied and analyzed
