The preliminary consideration of criteria directly influencing the choice of technology and material is always essential for the expression of the architect's or investor's images. The principal decisions include the following: Purpose of the Model, TheScale of the Model, Finances and Time, The Availability of Technology - The technology of machine working of materials enables to work different sorts of materials in comparison with the hand working. The above mentioned machining technologies include the usage of computer-controlled cutters, laser beam, water jet etc.
