Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

Le Corbusier představuje pro historiky a teoretiky trvalou a neodolatelnou výzvu k novému zkoumání, pohledům a interpretaci. V dubnu 2023 se proto na Fakultě architektury ČVUT v Praze konala série aktivit, spjatých s dílem této mimořádné osobnosti architektury 20. století. Jádro představovala putovní výstava více než 150 modelů Le Corbusierových staveb zapůjčených singapurskou kanceláří RT+Q Architects. Expozici doplnila série fotografií Le Corbusierových staveb pořízených akademiky a akademičkami a kresby studujících z dominikánského klášteřa La Tourette ve Francii. Akce vyvrcholila dvěma večery, v rámci nichž pozvaní přednášející přiblížili vybrané aspekty Le Corbusierova díla, prostředí jeho pařížského ateliéru, roli spoluautorů a spoluautorek nebo odkazy ve slovenské a české architektuře. Přednesená témata tvoří textovou část této publikace.

Le Corbusier represents a constant and irresistible challenge for historians and theorists to engage in new research, perspectives, and interpretations. Thus, in April 2023, the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague hosted a series of activities related to the work of this extraordinary figure of the 20th-century architecture. The core of the event was a traveling exhibition of more than 150 models of Le Corbusier's buildings on loan from the Singapore office of RT+Q Architects. The exhibition was complemented by a series of photographs of Le Corbusier's buildings taken by academics and drawings by students, which were created at the Dominican monastery of La Tourette in France. The event culminated in two evenings during which invited speakers presented selected aspects of Le Corbusier's work, the environment of his Paris studio, the role of his co-authors, and references in Slovak and Czech architecture. These topics reflect the text part of this publication.
