Mandate M/515 Phase 1 Project Team SC1.T5 Climate Change - Chairs Letter and Final Report
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This Report is the Final Draft of the Technical Report from the Project Team SC1.T5 (PT5) as required by CEN under its Mandate M/515 Phase 1 for the development of the 2nd generation of EN Eurocodes. The main objective of the report is to provide guidance concerning how anticipated changes in European climate will affect the assessment of extreme and further design relevant weather parameters, as far as they may be scientifically justified for the reliability-based design, including the partial factor method, of all structures covered by Eurocodes, based on current knowledge concerning projection models of future climate in Europe. The intention of this report is to review the most relevant state-of-the-art reports concerning global climate change issues in Europe and extract the currently available information on future projections on the European climate parameters relevant for the basis of design and actions on structures, as specified by the Eurocodes. This means that design relevant weather parameters are discussed, relating to common types of structures that are particularly sensitive to variations in those parameters, to the extent that scientific knowledge allows at this time.
