The loss of damping abilities of hard surfaces is replaced so by the absorbing ability of footwear bottom parts. Any knowledge would be welcomed not only by orthopedists, protetics, but by patients themselves. The insoles were tested in a single-purposeall-rubber work boot. Just this type of footwear demands the necessary comfort and good health promoting properties, because this footwear is designed for being worn in a difficult terrain which is demanding not only from the point of view of the environmental hygiene, but also from the point of view of physical demand concerning the musculature of the foot and of the whole kinetic system thereof.
