Rheology of dispersive polymeric systems
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
So far, the applications of recycled PET have not yet utilized quantitative or qualitative potential of this polymer. With regard to economical as well environmental aspects, physical (material, mechanical) recycling of plastics is more attractive for industry compared with chemical recycling. An industrially interesting method how to enhance processing as well utility properties of recyclate is the filling of particles with a high aspect ratio into recycled PET flakes by melt compounding. However, highinterfacial shear strength and sufficient dispersion of filler particles in polymer matrix is required to achieve improvements of material properties. Filler-matrix interfacial adhesion in polymer composite is usually characterized by mechanical tests, where the knowledge of interfacial interactions in relation to utility properties of the material is obtained. Nevertheless, understanding rheological behaviour of composite systems, i.e. information about interfacial adhesion in the melt
