Theoretical and Experimental Investigation of Die Drool Phenomenon
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Regarding the numerous reference data, there are many problems connected with the accuracy and reproducibility of the rheological measurements of the silicate composites, particularly those containing cement binder materials. This thesis concerns the research related to the evaluation of a new centrifugation method for the study of the rheological properties of suspensions with or without additives, with special regard to cement based systems. Mathematical model of the method was verified for the experimental results which followed. It was observed that yield point (yields stress) and water/solid ratio depend on the magnitude of the centrifugal forces. These variables might be used as rheological characteristics for suspensions in general. Further, anattention was paid to the effects of additives utilizing both methods - viscosities of suspensions determined by rotational viscometer, and deformation parameters of suspensions under centrifugal forces. In order to search the action prin
