Predictus - to reduce occurrence of juvenile foot deformities
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The absolute majority of deformities in adult feet occurred as a result of wearing inappropriate footwear at a time when the children's feet were growing. Many studies (1,2), done especially in German speaking countries, have demonstrated that the most essential part of children foot deformities could be ascribed to wearing shoes which no longer correspond in dimensions to the new shape dimensions of the growing foot. New software was developed helping to predict the growth of children's feet and operating on the basis of modelling and assessing input data. Data of cca 2000 children were analysed using five basic methods of multi nonlinear regression analyses. The mathematical model respects curves describing the speed of growth of body height (Carlsberg's model), refinement of rules and models of growth in children's feet (Mayer, Rossi, Nigg). The whole system was patented in USA in 2016 (US 20130332107 A1). This software is being implemented to information system (IS) of retailers of children shoes with the possibility to be utilized for e-shopping, to collect anthropological data and specify mathematical model and for logistic purchase as well.
