Reconstruction of the Riding Saddle Used in Great Moravia in the 8th-9th Centuries. The aim of our report is to describe an experiment based on archaeological finds, resultin in a functional model of the saddle used in Great Moravia in the 8th- to 9th centuries, including verification of its riding properties. The saddle was reconstructed on the basis of discoveries of Avar and Hun saddles which were adopted by Slavs.
