Mophology of Micro Injected Ipp Samples with fast Temperature Variation and Control of the Cavity temperature
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Setting optimal process parameters for micro-injection technology is a gradual process, which greatly affects not only the morphology, but also the mechanical properties of speciments. In this work, time of permanence was chosen and its influence on the morphology of injected isotactic polypropylene was observed. As the first step, three samples were produced; each with a variable processing parameter mentioned above (time of permanence - TP). The speciments were then cut and fixed between two glasses and subsequently observed with a polarized microscope. The morphology gained by the microscopy analysis was evaluated in three areas - gate, middle and tip, which proved to have different morphologies. This study demonstrates that the investigated process parameter has a great influence on the skin-core morphology, which could lead to varying micro-mechanical properties in a given area.
