Effects and consequences of the economic crisis in the Czech Republic. The government of the Czech Republic has adopted number of measures to resolve the crisis. The measures should preferentially help companies, to people only implicitly. The critics ofthe theoretic attitude to the crisis solution, the practice overtook the theory. The management possibilities are in its response to the existing situation. There is coming a crisis management which is admittedly described in theory but the practice hasto apply it immediately, intuitively and very dynamically. The goal of the contribution is to indicate the possible reactions to the current crisis and limit its consequences, to mention some possibilities for the crisis management which could bring about the solution. Important is active application of crisis management, costs cutting, correction of product's portfolio and increase in innovation.
