This work focuses on the ageing population and their interest in the leisure activities. Ageing population is one of the current discussions in the world and it is related to several issues. This work also investigates whether older people perceive the leisure activities as an important part of their lives. The study investigates which leisure activities are popular among the segment over 55 years old in the particular town in the Czech Republic. The results show that the people between 66 and 75 yearsold are the most interested in these activities. There are also illustrated activities which are most popular.
