This clinical experimental study examines the possibilities of providing a protective effect with various drugs against small bowel ischemia. In the study, Lidocaine and Xylazine were applied, which in a combined combination had a positive effect on the examined resected section of the small intestine. Of both drugs, Xylazine had a greater effect on the vascular system in the basin. However, success also depends on age, nutrition, changes in the vascular system and, last but not least, the hormonal state.
