Fabrication of Micro-Structured Surface of Polymeric Materials using Femtosecond Laser
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In order to develop the new polymeric tribomaterials, the fabrication of micro-structured surface of polymeric materials using femtosecond laser was investigated. Micro-structured surface such as regularly microstructure and periodic nanostructure usingfemtosecond laser has played important roles in key components for tribomaterials to improve the frictional properties and wettability. In this study, the influence of processing parameter such as laser power and speed on the fabrication of micro-structured surface of various engineering plastics (polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyamide (PA) and polyoxymethylene (POM)) and thermoplastic elastomer (Polyamide elastomer (TPAE) and fluoro thermoplastic elastomer (FE)) were investigated experimentally, andtheir frictional properties and wettability were evaluated. It was found that the surface microchannels are able to be fabricated by the femtosecond laser and have a good effect for improvement of the wettability. The shape of them close
