For centuries, Fibonacci and Lucas numbers, Golden section and Fibonacci retracement have attracted the attention of mathematicians, economists and philosophers. Step by step, the properties of such objects have been investigated and interesting, sometimes even intriguing, relationships between them discovered. The present paper aims to summarize the known facts on these notions pointing out remarkable relationships. In this paper, a number of interesting mathematical facts and relationships can be found concerning Fibonacci and Lucas numbers, Golden section and Fibonacci retracement. Also some applications in economy, arts, and architecture are included. These can serve as a theoretical background for some interesting economic calculations.
