V roce 2025 Národní zemědělské muzeum pořádalo soutěž Věda pro zemi, s cílem podpořit mladé vědkyně a vědce v počátcích jejich kariéry. Ve spolupráci s Českou akademií zemědělských věd vyhlásilo již X. ročník soutěže o nejlepší bakalářskou, magisterskou a disertační práci v oboru zemědělství. Cílem soutěže je vytvořit podmínky pro odbornou interdisciplinární diskuzi se zástupci z praxe, ze soukromého i neziskového sektoru, ze státní správy a samosprávy a z akademické sféry a v rámci prohlubování a zkvalitňování vědecko-výzkumné činnosti ocenit tvůrčí aktivity studentů při tvorbě jejich absolventských prací a zvýšit tak zájem vysokoškolských studentů o zveřejňování výsledků jejich bádání. Tradiční témata soutěže byla v roce 2025 rozšířena o téma Fotosyntéza, které je námětem hlavní výstavy i výstavního cyklu Národního zemědělského muzea pro roky 2024 a 2025. Do soutěže se v roce 2025 přihlásilo 24 studentů, a to v kategoriích bakalářská, magisterská a disertační práce. Hodnotící komise byla složena ze zástupců pořadatelských institucí – NZM a ČAZV, resp. jejich odborů. Výsledky soutěže byly vyhlášeny v rámci akce Noc vědců 2025, která se uskutečnila 26. 9. 2025. Nejlépe vyhodnoceným 10 studentům byla nabídnuta podpora v případě zájmu o vydání odborného článku. Platformou pro tuto spolupráci byl nabídnut časopis Prameny a studie, příp. vědecké časopisy vydávané ČAZV. Výstup je v souladu s Koncepcí vědy a výzkumu NZM, konkrétně jde o Výzkumný záměr I., aktivita č. 8 - název: Pořádání soutěže Věda pro zemi.

Science for the Earth 2025

In 2025, the National Museum of Agriculture organized the "Science for the Earth" competition with the aim of supporting young scientists at the beginning of their careers. In cooperation with the Czech Academy of Agricultural Sciences, it announced the 10th edition of the competition for the best bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses in the field of agriculture. The aim of the competition is to create conditions for professional interdisciplinary discussion with representatives from the field, the private and nonprofit sectors, state and local government, and the academic sphere, and, as part of deepening and improving scientific research activities, to recognize students’ creative efforts in producing their theses, and thereby increase university students’ interest in publishing the results of their research. In 2025, the competition’s traditional themes were expanded to include the topic of Photosynthesis, which is the theme of the main exhibition and the exhibition series of the National Museum of Agriculture for the years 2024 and 2025. In 2025, 24 students entered the competition in the categories of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses. The evaluation committee consisted of representatives from the organizing institutions — NMA and the Czech Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) — and their respective departments. The results of the competition were announced during the Researchers’ Night 2025 event, which took place on September 26, 2025. The 10 highest-ranked students were offered support if they were interested in publishing a scholarly article. The journal Prameny a studie, or scientific journals published by CAAS, were offered as a platform for this collaboration. The resulting project is in accordance with the Science and Research Concept of the National Museum of Agriculture, and more specifically, Research Intent I., activity no. 1 – title: Research in the field of museology.
